An Exception

i gave her fresh flowers
she held them in her arms
before she retired on her bed
into the fridge they’ve  frozen
together with some cherry red
different colors, hue and shades
into the freezing  pole away they stayed
in the colds, their world have ultimately changed
the soft feel, color and a perfumery well
now in brittle, browned and the decaying smell
the coldness has bared its properties
believing in the maxim that flowers withers
even in the controlled condition of the colds
changes happen  like a wandering fool
but true love is an exception to the rule...
